My name is is Jessica Laine Mccallie!
I started southern Laine market as a flower arrangement booth at vendor events in June 2025! I have a love for piecing things together and making it look beautiful! I then decided to do a flower bar: I put bulk flowers in terracotta vases and let my customer create their own heart felt bouquet. I would wrap them in craft paper or provide a jar! However more than half my customers preferred me to make them something. In the winter I had to learn how to make candles because it was too cold for customers to desire a flower bouquet. I also incorporated home decor I found at flea markets. I love watching a customer smile when they get flowers or take home a candle. I researched a lot on my candles being the perfectionist I am! I am still learning and growing! I enjoy using the DIY and creative side of my mind. I hope everyone supports small businesses! This business gave me something to grow, something to pour time into and come out with a success product, it gave me what I needed when I was feeling broken and my self confidence was plummeted because life will happen. We go through storms but it’s in how you pick yourself back up and move forward. As someone once told me: nothing changes if nothing changes. No one is gonna do it for you. Pray, ask for guidance, meditate, exercise channel your energy towards things that build you up!
