🏆📸 HOOSIER HAVOK — AWARDS & MEET DAY MOMENTS! 📸🏆

We’re looking back at some of the best moments from the 2026 USPC Hoosier Havok in Richmond, Indiana.

From the action on the platform to the awards ceremony at the end of the day, this meet was packed with big lifts, PRs, records, and plenty of great memories.

Congratulations again to every lifter who stepped onto the platform, and especially to our award winners who capped off the day with some well-earned hardware.

The 2026 The Zone Halloween Bench Bash is almost here!

We’re just 10 days away from another fun day of lifting at The Zone in Virden, and if last year was any indication, this is going to be a great one.

We’ll be sharing some of last year’s pictures and video again as we count down to meet day — big benches, costumes, crowd energy, and plenty of Halloween fun.

Meet day moves fast, especially once your flight gets rolling.

One of the easiest mistakes to avoid is simply being late for your attempt.

A few simple habits can help:

⏱️ Pay attention to the lifters ahead of you
🏋️ Start warming up with enough time to spare
📋 Know your flight order
🎒 Have your gear ready before your name is called
🧠 Stay close to the platform when your turn is coming up

Don’t wait until you hear your name to start getting ready.

The goal is to walk onto the platform calm, prepared, and focused — not rushed.

Know when you’re up. Be ready when your name is called.

⚪⚪⚪ MEET YOUR USPC JUDGE: SUZANNE MCCORMICK ⚪⚪⚪

Get to know the people behind the lights! Today we’re introducing USPC Judge Suzanne McCormick from Springfield, Illinois!

🏋️ How long have you been involved in powerlifting?
I’ve been involved in powerlifting for 12 years!

⚪ How long have you been a USPC Judge?
I’m coming up on 2 years as a judge.

💪 What originally got you involved in powerlifting?
My two sons have been involved in sports their entire lives. What began as lifting for high school athletics quickly turned into competitive powerlifting, and I’ve been along on their journey ever since!

⚖️ What made you decide to become a judge?
I believe heavily in consistency. I have a tremendous amount of respect for lifters of all experience levels and ages.

Whether it’s a junior doing their first meet or an 83-year-old grandmother stepping onto the platform, I respect the work these athletes put into this sport.

🔥 What is your favorite part about judging USPC meets?
The energy of meet day and watching lifters see all their hard work come to fruition!

I also love the relationships and community that USPC powerlifting builds. Seeing lifters support each other on the platform and in the warm-up room — and then reconnect at the next USPC meet — is awesome!

🚨 Advice for more white lights?
Execute on meet day!

I love seeing the camaraderie between lifters in the warm-up area. Everyone is there supporting each other — use that energy, trust the work you’ve put in, and execute when you step onto the platform! ⚪⚪⚪

🔥 THE 2026 USPC CROWN TOWN CLASSIC WAS A SMASH HIT! 🔥

What an awesome day of powerlifting in Maysville!

A huge thank you to every lifter who stepped onto the platform and brought the energy all day long. From first-time competitors to experienced lifters chasing PRs and records, you helped make this meet something special.

Thank you to all of the spectators who packed the room, cheered loud, and supported the athletes from the first lift to the last.

A big thank you as well to our judges, spotters, and loaders for keeping the meet safe, fair, and running smoothly all day. Meets like this simply do not happen without a strong crew behind the platform.

And a very special thank you to My Fitness Maysville and Combess Barbell for providing an awesome venue and helping create such a great atmosphere for the 2026 Crown Town Classic.

We appreciate everyone who played a part in making this event such a success.

Congratulations again to all of our lifters — and thank you for making the Crown Town Classic one to remember!

🎄🏋️ REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR THE 🎅 6th Annual 2026 MST Christmas Classic Powerlifting Meet and Toy Drive 🎅! 🏋️🎄

The 2026 MST Christmas Classic Push/Pull Powerlifting Meet & Toy Drive is officially open for registration!

This year marks our 6th annual Christmas Classic, and this meet has grown into something much bigger than just a day of lifting.

Over the past five years, our lifters, families, spectators, and supporters have helped donate more than 3,500 toys to local children during the holiday season.

That is something we are incredibly proud of.

This meet is about:

🏋️ Big benches and deadlifts
🎄 Giving back to the community
🎁 Helping local families during Christmas
🤝 Bringing lifters together for a great cause

Now we’re getting ready to do it all again.
