Our sweet peas are slowly beginning to wind down for the season, with an estimated 2–3 weeks of blooms still left in the field.

At the same time, our first larkspur blooms have started opening, bringing in a new wave of color for the weeks ahead. As one season fades into the next, the fields continue to change every day — and we’re looking forward to what’s still to come.

Looking for a little extra help for approximately 8 hours on Thursdays at our small flower farm this season. Mainly harvesting flowers, processing stems, and making bouquets. No experience needed if you’re willing to learn and work with your hands. Pay starts at $12.50/hour.

It’s outdoor, physical work, but peaceful and honestly pretty enjoyable if you like flowers and being outside. Would make a good summer job or be a great fit for someone interested in flowers, farming, or the floral industry. Ideal for someone looking for a little supplemental income one day a week.

Being a dad has changed the way I look at all of this.

What started as growing flowers has turned into building something my kids can be a part of. A place they can run around, get dirty, and maybe one day take pride in.

Mother’s Day means more to me now too. Watching my wife be a mom puts a whole new weight behind it.

If you’re celebrating a mom this year, we’ve got fresh sweet peas and poppies blooming and ready to go.

If you’ve never had them on your kitchen table, you’re missing out. The scent alone is worth it.

We’re officially open for the season with sweet peas and poppies available now, and larkspur on the way.

Mother’s Day is just about here—come grab some stems and put something fresh in the hands of someone who deserves it.

Poppies are starting to come in and they’re a little different than most flowers you’re used to.

They’re usually cut while still closed, and then open up on your table over the next day or two. Each bloom doesn’t last long, but new ones keep coming on the same stem so you get to watch the whole process play out.

That’s part of what makes them special…they’re not perfect, they’re not permanent, but they’re real.

We’ve got poppies and sweet peas blooming now, with larkspur on the way.

Mother’s Day is right around the corner if you’re thinking about bringing something fresh home.

Exciting news happening at Good Faith Flower Co.

We are officially open for the season with sweet peas and poppies in full bloom and are ready for their homes on your kitchen table. Stems are at 75c a piece and I wanted to share a reminder that stems can have multiple blooms on them, the price is per stem and not per bloom so be sure to take that into account when you are checking out.

I have been busy over the spring and have planted three 100 ft. lavender hedges and 50 peonies to help build toward our long term goals of sustainability and beauty for the Northern Neck and Tappahannock community.

I have more perennials including hydrangeas coming next week so you will see perennial beds popping up all over the place.

We have expanded our annual cut flower selection to include daisies, dahlias, and marigolds in addition to our sunflowers, zinnias, and cosmos. Sunflowers are planted in succession to ensure beautiful blooms all year long.

The rain(or lack there of) has definitely affected emergence but I will be there replanting what doesn’t come up when God decides to turn the sprinklers back on.

As the season progresses and the fields brighten up I will be adding benches, tables, and various photo opportunities for anyone wanting to have a photography session in the flowers this year.
