Our very first SECOND SATURDAY will be May 9th, 4-8 pm...come on out and join us!
Several venues along Main Street to stop in and have a sensory experience. YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS!!!!!
*The Chamber Gallery will be hosting the art of Joe Kluck and Earl Lehman, Kenny McGraw will be on the keyboard, food by PETTINATO'S Restaurant, and wine for tasing. $30
*Sisko's Cafe will have Matt Gillotti, musician and karaoke as well as a food special.
*The Vinery Plant Co. will featuring the artwork of Elizabeth Jones, Fused4Good permanent jewerly and music by Katie Evans. A great space to relax and breathe.
*Anthracite Center will be featuring the artwork of Eric Bussart, a muralist and Breanna Robak, pottery. The musicians will be the Critchley Bros. along with wonderful cocktails served by the Center.
*Gallagher's Distillery on Salem will be offering his own craft whiskey, bourban or rum tastings as well as delicious food from Amor de Mami Foodtruck.
* City Hall will be displaying the art of Darleen Keen and the *Carbondale Public Library will be featuring the artwork of Sharin Fischer.
*Hotel Anthracite will be featuring the band, High Tension Wire and the artists Beth Polanec and Barry Barosky. Kol will be offering food specials and well as cocktails.
* Mi Mexico Lindo will be offering a mexican cuisine serenated by a Mariachi Band.
*570 Exotic, will be displaying art by Zach Yahn.
* The Crystal Spirit will have a magician.
*Carwanna is offering their famous hotdogs and a hamburger special.
*Barbours Bakery is have something sweet.
*Foliage and The Great Wall will be offering Chinese Food.
*Dominick's Pizza and Royal Pizza will be ready with some pies if you're thinkin' PIZZA.
We also have an "AFTER PARTY" at either AJ's AJ’s Bar-N-Grill and the Peanut Bar, which will have a signature drink on hand to celebrate the very first Second Saturday in Carbondale!!!!

Throwback Thursday to Memorial Park and City Hall in Carbondale 🏛️🌳

Before the hotel was here, this area was already full of history, shaping the heart of the city

Known as the birthplace of the underground mining in America, Carbondale played a major role in the coal and rail industries that helped build the region 🚂🪨

That history still lives on in the streets, landmarks, and community today ❤️

To take advantage of the discount or the 4 payment program, please ensure your payment is received by the due date.

The City Finance Office is open daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM to assist you with payments or any questions you may have.

I am thrilled to announce the kickoff of Second Saturdays, a monthly celebration of our vibrant community starting right here in the heart of Carbondale!

Our first event kicks off on May 9th, and we want to see the streets filled with friends, families, and neighbors. It’s more than just an event; it’s a way to support the local artists, musicians, and vendors who make our city unique.
