We were recently presented with the honorable task of planning the memorial service for Sergeant Damon Gutzwiller, and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office. In all my years of planning, I cannot remember a time we have felt so honored and humbled by such an amazing experience. The amount of outpouring and love we felt took our breath away, and only increased our pride for the community and our local SCSO. I did not know Sergeant Gutzwiller well, but from what we have learned about him as a husband, father, son, Sergeant, man—he was truly one of the finest. We were so honored to be included🙏🏻
