Yes, it’s been some time since we posted last. We were taking a hiatus from social media to focus on our website, then last summer we got plunged into an unforeseen remodel that lasted until the end of 2019. January and February were two of the busiest months we’ve ever had and we were so excited for 2020, but then the Pandemic hit and changed everything. Thankfully Joe and I have stayed healthy and have been able to catch up on lots of projects. ⁠⠀

Yesterday I walked into Shinoda Design Center, a place I love, and the first person I see when I walk in is Deborah Stocker, the owner of Shinoda! We had the honor of photographing her daughter’s wedding a few years back and we spent some time catching up on the family, the business and life in general.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Thinking of how much time has passed since we photographed the wedding got me to thinking, I really, really, really can’t believe how time flies! It seems like Catherine and Chris’ wedding was yesterday, we remember it so well!! After running into Deborah, I was inspired to post some our favorites from her Daughter's wedding at the Monarch Beach Resort. They got married on the grand lawn and had their reception at Club 19. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Deborah was a stunning “Mother of the Bride” that day. Design Visage did the hair and makeup and everyone looked incredible! You’ll see in the photo with Catherine and the girls, Mom looks like a sister! The ceremony was at 10 AM, and the bride and groom decided to do their beach photos AFTER the reception was over. That way there was no rush to get back to the party. It worked out really well and we were able to capture some really great images. ⁠⠀

So back to Shinoda. Shibnoda is fully open and it looks amazing!! It’s all ready for the holidays and I got some great decor ideas, especially from the end cap displays — super creative!!!⠀
