Welcome to Big Carlos Pass. The main waterway connecting the Estero Bay behind Ft. Myers out to the Gulf. The bridge originally constructed in the 60's to replace a worn out wood bridge just got renovated again! This time to remove the lifting center section and raise the bridge to 75ft with 60ft of clearance beneath so it can stay in position and allow larger vessels to clear the pass while spanning the pass for vehicles to cross from the south end of Ft. Myers Beach to Lovers Key and vice versa; leading further south and connecting to Bonita Springs. It sure looks great from the sky!

Cloudy morning and a bit windy but overall another beautiful day on the south end of Ft Myers Beach and I am excited to be here. I have seen the beach from many angles over the last 15 years but seeing it from the sky is almost as nice as seeing it from the water. Great day for some more real estate photo shoots. It's definitely nice to finally see the beach coming back to life after almost 4 years since Hurricane Ian.
