💚 New Mexico has been full of surprises… and this one is worth dressing up for. 🍷✨

As a chef, I’m always curious about more than what’s on the plate. I notice the atmosphere, the music, the presentation, the wine list, and all the little details that turn dinner into an experience.

My night at Grear Gatsby in Santa Fe gave me exactly that — great energy, beautiful surroundings, good food, and, of course, I had to spend a little extra time exploring the red wine list. 🍷

One of my favorite parts of traveling is getting to step out of my own kitchen and experience someone else’s. Every restaurant, every dish, and every glass can spark a new idea. Follow me for more explorations throughout New Mexico.

Now I’ve got a question for you! When you’re choosing a red wine with dinner, are you reaching for a Cabernet, Pinot Noir, Malbec… or asking the sommelier to surprise you?

Lovely dinner here in New Mexico! As a chef, I love exploring the local restaurants when I travel and tonight I found a Thai 🇹🇭 spot that brings tradition with a twist. It’s called Nath’s Inspired KHMER cuisine.

For my entree I tried the Tom Yum soup w/ Lobster 🦞 and rice with a jalapeño sauce that was sweet with heat. 🥵🌶️

The Tom Yum is made with organic or wild caught ingredients. Lemongrass broth with hints of galangal, kaffir lime leaves, tamarind, and mild red chile, with a touch of coconut milk. Accompanied by cauliflower, tomatoes, and king trumpet mushrooms. Garnished with fresh cilantro. Organic and gluten-free 🌿

I spoke w/ the chef and turns out she was the Royal Palace chef in Cambodia 🇰🇭 She fuses Thai, Cambodian, Vietnamese and Chinese cuisines using all fresh ingredients 🤌🏽
