Due to the amount of rain we’ve received and the current condition of the farm, we have made the decision to reschedule all mini sessions to Sunday, May 17th at the same scheduled times.

The safety of our clients and the animals, along with preserving the property conditions is our top priority, and the mud at the farm is simply too significant at this time to comfortably hold sessions.

All clients have been contacted directly, but we wanted to make a public post as well just in case anyone missed the message.

Thank you all so much for your understanding and flexibility. We truly appreciate it and look forward to seeing everyone next Sunday!

• These minis are scheduled back-to-back, so arriving right on time helps ensure you receive the full experience we’ve planned for you.

• Occohannock Creek Farm is a working farm, which is part of the magic! For everyone’s safety, and the animals’ comfort, little ones will need close supervision and to stay within designated areas during sessions.

• Gift cards aren’t applicable for these sessions. Because these minis include special farm access, animal care coordination, and limited-availability scheduling, they can’t be combined with credits or promotions.

✨ A Message of Gratitude ✨

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank every single one of my clients for the patience, grace, and understanding you’ve shown me over the past week. As many of you know, my family experienced a tremendous loss with the passing of my grandmother, and I had to travel out of town to be with family and help with her services.

This has been an incredibly difficult and emotional time, and your kindness has meant more than you know. The messages, the patience with delayed responses and galleries, and the space you’ve given me to grieve and support my family have been such a gift.

📸 All photography work will resume tomorrow, and I will be getting fully caught up with messages, galleries, and scheduling.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for your compassion, thank you for your support, and thank you for understanding that behind this business is a real person and a real family navigating a painful moment.

We’ve spent countless wedding days side by side, making sure every detail is seamless, every moment flows effortlessly, and every couple feels completely cared for. Kari brings such calm, grace, and joy to everything she touches, and it’s a gift to work alongside her.

What was supposed to be a simple couples’ session turned into the sweetest surprise of all. Brock handed me the ring box while Shelby was preoccupied, and I posed her just right so that when she turned around, there he was, down on one knee, asking for forever.

And if that wasn’t enough, he even flew her parents in all the way from Texas to be there for this moment. The look on her face says it all. 💍🤍

A perfect proposal on the beach, surrounded by love, family, and a sky that seemed to hold its breath just for them.

My heart is so full after this session with Tawny and David. There are some sessions that feel less like “work” and more like pure joy, and this was one of them. Tawny absolutely glowed in both dresses, and the way David looked at her made capturing their story so special.

I’m really grateful to do what I do, sessions like this remind me of why I fell in love with photography in the first place. 💛
