Since Fleur Couture has been in business since 2008, I believe it is about time to start social network advertising. :)
This is also a great opportunity for me to put in writing a formal thank you to all of you who have made this dream of mine possible over the years.
An enormous thank you to my family: To my dad who takes my crazy ideas and figures out a way to construct them every time. To my mom who single-handedly is responsible for all of the creative bones in my body. My favorite brother who has helped me setup and teardown countless weddings and events even when he had way better things to do with his time. My favorite sister who really pushed me to start my own company and has always helped me every way that she can. You are so talented and I am proud to be able to call you my sister. To my uncle who stayed up with me more times than I can count until the wee hours of the morning keeping me company while I worked, your own arrangements that you made out of my discarded stems and your empty cans/bottles were always an inspiration or at the very least entertaining. And my beautiful cousins who are fluent in French, I thank you for helping me come up with my company name. You made a great choice.
To all of my supportive friends who have also helped me over the years, I thank you more than I can express in words.
When I was a child my grandmother bought teapots for each of her granddaughters to use during our midnight tea parties. Each teapot was to be a representation of each of us. Mine was a flower cart. She obviously saw something in me that I hadn't yet.
This dream of mine became a reality when I had the opportunity to attend classes at Phil Rulloda's School of Floral Design. Phil you are a legend in the floral design world and I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to have met you and learned from you.
Most importantly a great big thank you to all of my clients. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of some of your greatest accomplishments in life.
I look forward to many more weddings and events to challenge my creativity.
