First 2026 snapdragons! These really love a cool start and it's amazing to see how 2 weeks make such a difference in the results. These are field grown, so no tunnel for protection, they'd be giants if they had a little care like that!
That's why I'm out trying to hustle and get as much done before hot weather, before a rain, before the weeds. It may seem unimportant to wait another day at the time, but it really does make a difference.

Each week you will receive a different bouquet, with ever-changing flowers throughout the season.

June and July are four week subscriptions and this year I'm offering the first two weeks of August only. In addition, there is an option to choose your own dates, pick any 4 throughout the season.

After deciding how many bouquets you want, the next choice is arranged or wrapped bundle? The bundle is nice for making your own arrangements and can be all used in one large vase or several small. The arranged bouquets are popular as well, I use a variety of vases and they are exchanged when you get your next bouquet. This option is only available if you are picking up at the Verde Flower Shed.

A note on why the peonies are sold closed, this is so you get the most enjoyment and life out of them. It's great to watch them open up into these beautiful, ruffled, fragrant flowers! Just imagine this bouquet with those peonies blown wide open. Many of the peonies change color as they mature.

I love orders like these! requested a bouquet for her senior 👩‍🎓 pics and I happened to have beautiful flowering dogwood and colorful tulips to make a sweet little bouquet. And look at how playful and fun these photos by turned out.

I wanted to show you a progression of Louvre Orange tulips. The first picture was taken April 6th, the next two April 9th, and the last two were taken today April 13th. Notice that gorgeous striation in the later pics...
These have been hanging on the wall in my flower shed with no special treatment, no trimming ends, no air conditioning. If I had kept them cool the whole time they would be lasting even longer, but this is a week progression on some fairly warm days. I think I'm pretty much in love with this variety, they don't look all that special before they start to open but WOW 😍, when they start showing off 🤯
Tulips are fun like this, twisting and turning, opening and revealing color you didn't even realize was there. Likely this will be on my list again this year to grow!

2026 tulip season 🌷🌷🌷is winding down. You can still get yours today and through this next week 🎉. I battle for these beauties, but that's what you do when you see the beauty in something.
It all starts this time of year, selecting what varieties to grow next year. Then after we are done harvesting our crops in the fall, I request help (coerce) from the fam to get them all planted. Totally recommend getting 20-30 year olds and their skid steer to help plant and fill the beds! 😁💙
I attach hardware cloth on the bottom to keep the critters from burrowing up into the bed and feasting on the bulbs. Then I stapled plastic mesh on top to keep the critters from digging down to eat the bulbs. 🤦🏻‍♀️
They get a good watering in and I basically forget them all winter, and as soon as things start turning toward spring I begin watering them.
The deer think tulips are candy, so I have to fence them all in to fend them off the best I can 🙄🙄😡
Next you can expect a roller coaster weather pattern and this year was the hardest on my tulips with the wild fluctuations, some (possibly the prettiest most expensive) barely flowered and the blooms were damaged.
Then there's all the mud, washing, bundling so the stems stand upright, packaging into pretty bundles.
So, here I am deciding which to plant next year even though the sales barely cover the expense. Butttt....I look at the pics of them and they are soooo beautiful along with my favorites from this year and it compels me 😍

Tulips! Is there anything that says spring better? You will love watching them open and change. I have bundles available for the weekend from my cooler and also at . I will be available most of the weekend, but they are self-serve from my cooler. Message me for an address!

There is so much beauty in one of these bundles, or two are even better!! Freshly picked tulips, lilacs, dogwood combos. I love having them on my kitchen counter to enjoy.
