Located just a few minutes from First Monday Trade Days, the Silver Spur Resort's own KOA Kampground is a popular destination for weekend visitors. Our KOA Kampground offers 80 RV spots, tent camping sites, cozy cabins, and tiny homes to rent. For a more adventurous stay, try glamping in our Conestoga Wagons or Treehouse, something families love! For guests staying a little longer, we offer all the comforts of home, and plenty of activities to keep all ages entertained. Enjoy BBQ & craft beers at the Q & Brew, Canton's 1st (and only) brewery. Meats are smoked slow and low daily right here in our Smokehouse for guests to enjoy both traditional Texas BBQ and unique comfort food items in a family-friendly environment. Try your luck in one of our immersive Escape Rooms, designed to be challenging for even the most experienced Escape Room enthusiasts. Outdoor activities include our catch and release fishing ponds, pedal boats, walking paths, kids play yard, basketball, sand volleyball, human foosball, horseshoes, and a variety of yard games sprinkled around the resort. If lounging poolside is more your style, we've got you covered! Enjoy our outdoor pool, open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend as the weather permits. Silver Spur Resort was designed with groups in mind, offering venue options for gatherings of up to 300. Wedding receptions are typically held in our beautiful large rustic barn with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Ceremonies take place in a peaceful and quiet location down by the pond, or outside the barn in a private space. The Barn is also used for corporate retreats, family reunions, birthday parties, holiday parties, prom, and other celebrations. Stagecoach Hall is our small venue, ideal for meetings, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, and other small group gatherings of up to 75 people. Our specialty is creating unique experiences so that you can make beautiful memories with your loved ones. Yes, your child will have FUN! And yes, your child will learn a TON!

But did you know Jr. Firefighter Camp is also a FUNDRAISER with proceeds benefitting the Van Zandt First Responders Fund?! This fund supports our local first responders by helping to meet unexpected needs ranging from equipment to support for first responder families.

It's a GREAT way for kids to have a fun experience, and to support our local heroes at the same time.

Summer Camp Update ☀️

We have some important news to share regarding our 2025 summer day camps.

Due to unexpected staffing challenges, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel the majority of our day camps.

The person who originally organized the camps is no longer with the company, and despite our efforts, we haven’t been able to find the staff needed to successfully run the full camp schedule.

We know how much these camps mean to families in our community, and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause.

The good news: We will still be hosting two awesome camps this summer:
🟡 Fun Camp – June 17th
🔴 Jr. Fire Camp – June 26th

If you were already registered for a camp that’s been canceled, you have received direct communication from us. Full refunds will be issued this week.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue working to provide safe and memorable experiences for your kids.

We can't forget about these wonderful women! 💕

Our team loved welcoming this group of quilters back to the Silver Spur Resort! 🧵❤️ These talented women meet up a few times a year in different places to quilt together, and we were honored they chose Stagecoach Hall once again for their creative getaway.

It was such a joy having them here — sweet spirits, beautiful craftsmanship, and even a little quilting history shared along the way. Our Event Coordinator brought in two quilts passed down from her great-great-grandmother, and the group graciously took the time to examine them and share insights about the materials and stitching. What a special moment!

Thank you to each of you for choosing to spend your time with us. We hope to see you again soon! 💛

What an incredible couple of days with the amazing faculty of Trinity Valley Community College during their annual retreat at the Silver Spur Resort last month!

This year’s garden-themed event was full of thoughtful moments and meaningful connection—designed to nurture both mind and spirit.

From axe throwing and a scavenger hunt, to massages by Amy and Melissa from Oasis Massage and Day Spa, candle making, and even a chance to plant a plant for the office—every detail reflected the care and creativity of the TVCC team.

A special shoutout to Southern Pop for supplying the perfect popcorn for movie night in the barn, Chick’n Run for the delicious chicken salad lunch, and our very own Q & Brew at the Silver Spur Resort for catering with love!

We’re so honored to have hosted a retreat focused on reflection, connection, and growth. Thank you, TVCC faculty and staff, for choosing Silver Spur Resort. 💚
