As prom season comes to an end we want to thank each of you.

We loved all of our corsages, bouquets, and bouts. The ones that wore these are what made them special. Grandson Noland and his girl, Macey, and Granddaughter Bayleigh and her guy, Brendan, looked amazing with the flowers!

Father’s Day isn’t as big in the flower business as Mother’s Day but we would be remiss if we didn’t recognize the original dad of Fowlers Florist, Larry Fowler. Lena made him a dad a very long time ago and then Heather completed his girl dad status a few years later. Both girls will say that he always went along just to make sure he spent time with them. The girls promoted him to Pops 21 years ago and he has rocked that position also. Our family is very blessed to have him in our lives.

Mother’s day is tomorrow and we are finishing our appreciation posts. Last but certainly not least, Trish aka Grammy, Gram Gram, Gramster, or whatever else the crazy grandkids can come up with!
When asked about their favorite memory/thing about their mom, Lena and Heather their responses were as follows:
Lena “How do you choose just one favorite memory when she is the one in the family who always made sure our lives were complete. She was not only at every event Heather and I participated in but has been at anything the grandkids wanted her to attend. She has always made sure we were never late or missed a thing. And how could one forget she was not only my mom but my 3rd grade teacher and wondered why I missed things in class, since I was used as the barrier between a student, his upside down chair and go kart noises and the instruction the rest of the class was getting.”
Heather “I’m not picking just one memory because mom is too special for that. She has been the glue that holds our lives together. Can we do life without her? Sure! But we don’t want to. Whether it was keeping the kids so we knew they were safe and cared for or folding my sock pile just because I hate to do it, she has kept us going. I can pick the most important thing she taught me. It is to keep Christ at the center of my life. She taught me to put Him first and everything else will fall into place. She taught me to be active in church and to keep a circle of like minded people as friends. I sure do love my mom!”
Grammy not only keeps the family together but does a fantastic job helping out here around the shop, whether she is routing out deliveries, doing payroll, or answering phones, she’s constantly on the run. Grammy is arguably the best mom, grandma, and friend around. When not at the shop she enjoys playing piano at her church, relaxing with honeybun (their dog), and most importantly, being around family!
We wouldn’t be where we are without these amazing mothers and so many more. Thank you all for what you do for us! Happy Mother’s Day from Fowler’s Florist!!

With Mother’s Day coming up this Sunday we want to highlight the Fowler family mothers. Today, Lena.
Lena is the oldest of the Fowler daughters. She has two sons, Noland and Davon
Noland says his favorite memory with his mom was when they were fishing and she was the only one catching anything. He says she bragged the whole time.
Davon says his favorite memory with his mom is all the times they have went to the Braves games together!
Lena can still be seen floating in and out of the shop and even comes to help out on busy holidays (like today!) When not at work Lena enjoys being outside, hanging with her family, and crafting.
We love and appreciate all our mothers and look forward to loving on them extra hard this weekend!
