So we all know, Stranglehold was a once in a lifetime event. But there’s been a hole in Canton that needs filled with great wrestling action, and NEOPro Wrestling will look to do just that as they debut their first show on April 29th, back at the Art Hall at the Stark County Fairgrounds with NEOPro One!

Plenty of familiar MCW faces such as Patrick Hayes, Justin Mane, Bill Martel and Wilbur Whitlock will be in action. As well as top stars from all over the United States, headlined by ECW Legend: ’The Franchise’ Shane Douglas!

MCW family,

Words cannot possibly express how grateful I am for tonight.

Thank you to all of the fans for coming out to support us. Thank you for not forgetting about us. Thank you for putting up with the "Card Subject to Change" moments because, after all, in 2021 nothing could ever go exactly as planned. And, most importantly, thank you for helping us say goodbye to our friend, mentor, and brother.

Thank you to the "boys in the back" for busting your ass just like you always have. Thank you for being willing to take a chance and step through those ropes one more time, even though some hadn't done so in nearly a decade. Thank you for dealing with the constant changes and always being willing to do whatever was asked. And thank you for, once again, showing everyone what "Wrestling at it's Best" is all about.

Thank you to MEGA Wrestling, ASWA, and Powerslam Pro Wrestling for helping out an old bunch of misfits compile everything we needed to run a successful live event. Thank you to all the sponsors that made this possible. And thank you the the Stark County Fairgrounds for being a great host.

Thank you to everyone behind the scenes that make this all possible. Thank you to all the support staff, security, and photographers. Thank you to all of our wives, husbands, girlfriends, boyfriends, and children that put up with us while we get to go play wrestling. And thank you Tara for coming around and joining us so that we could properly pay our respects on a night none of us will ever forget.

Here we go!

M&L Heating and Cooling proudly presents the first match signed for MCW Stranglehold!

In what has become a bit of a grudge match, Alex Matthews has claimed that not only is he a part of the last graduating class of the Stomping Grounds wrestling school; but he is in fact the biggest star to have ever been trained by the late, great Shasta. While Matthews has in fact achieved a ton of success since his training concluded; a statement like this garnered the attention of many great talents that trained under Shasta. This includes Wilbur Whitlock.

Whitlock took his knowledge from Shasta and has been a top star in every promotion he’s wrestled for all over the Midwest, including MCW. With nearly 20 years in wrestling, Wilbur has won championships in nearly every promotion in which he has competed. One title that always eluded him, was the MCW Heavyweight Championship.

On September 25th, both men will finally have their opportunity to win this prestigious title. As the winner will not only settle this grudge, but will also earn the opportunity to face MCW Heavyweight Champion Jebediah in the main event! This match will be an absolute barn burner and one cannot afford to miss!
