In case you were curious, we’re team family style. Here are a few reasons why family style is our favorite style of meal service:

1. As long as your caterer is familiar with this style of service, it’s the fastest serve time. Think about it, they just have to drop a few platter on each table rather delivering 8-10 meals to each table.

2. It gets your guests to interact with one another. Your childhood best friend asks your college roommate, “can you pass the risotto?” And all of the sudden they have an ice breaker and are way to organically connect.

3. It allows you to have a layered place setting that you’ll actually utilize! And some of our clients who choose family style forego a charger plate since there will already be a dinner plate & salad plate on each place setting.
