🍸 NOW HIRING: PART-TIME BARTENDER & BARBACK
Historic Onesto Event Center | Downtown Canton, Ohio
The Historic Onesto Event Center is looking for dependable, energetic, and customer-focused individuals to join our event staff as Part-Time Bartenders and Barbacks.
We host a variety of weddings, private parties, corporate events, celebrations, and special occasions in the heart of downtown Canton. We’re looking for team members who take pride in creating a welcoming, professional experience for every guest.
🍹 PART-TIME BARTENDER
Responsibilities:
Provide friendly, professional service to guests throughout events
Prepare and serve b**r, w**e, and mixed drinks responsibly
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
Verify identification and follow all applicable alcohol-service laws
Handle cash and/or POS transactions accurately
Communicate effectively with event staff and management
Help with bar setup, breakdown, and closing duties
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
Qualifications:
Previous bartending experience preferred
Must be 21+
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require
Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced event environment
🍺 PART-TIME BARBACK
Responsibilities:
Assist bartenders with event setup and breakdown
Stock b**r, w**e, mixers, ice, cups, and other bar supplies
Help with dishes
Keep the bar area clean and organized
Refill supplies throughout events
Assist with bussing and maintaining a clean guest area when needed
Help with closing, cleaning, and inventory
Support bartenders and event staff to keep service running smoothly
Qualifications:
Must be 18+ (21+ if required for specific alcohol-service duties)
Hospitality, restaurant, or event experience is a plus but not required
Must be reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working on your feet
Ability to lift and carry supplies
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Availability for evenings and weekends

Pay: Competitive hourly wage + tips, based on position and experience
Schedule: Part-time; primarily evenings and weekends based on scheduled events
