Four Mile fans … the Summer Social Series is now entering the final stretch and we’re going to finish it out with a redo of our two most popular events 😳

With both Pizza and Putting and Glow Golf being events that everyone loved, we’ll bring them back as our last two events this summer. What a great time it will be to wrap up the inaugural season of the Summer Social Series!

Here’s the short version of each one:

- Pizza and Putting … will be Saturday Sept 12th with Putting first and Pizza second. Show up/checkin/pay by 4:10 with putting starting at 4:30. The Pizza will be ready when you finish and we invite you to stay around the firepits as long as you would like to. Cost is $40 which includes any 10” pizza on the menu and 18 holes (cart included) of putting. Event sponsors are From The Flames_Mobile Wood Fired Pizza & Catering and The Winery At Holy Cross Abbey. After all, what goes better with pizza than wine?! 😀

- Glow Golf … will be on Saturday Sept 26th dinner starting at 5:00 and the glow golf taking place at dusk, which we guess will be 7:08ish 😂. Show up anytime from 5:00 on to enjoy dinner from Brandee’s Bites. The food is delicious and the portions won’t disappoint! At 6:30 we’ll have a putting and pitching contest that will allow a representative from your team a chance to win some Four Mile prizes. The actual Glow Golf will start once we get good-to-go from event organizers from Glow Vibe Golf. Yes they will be back to provide once again fantastic evening experience. Cost for this event is $75 per person and must be prepaid in advance.

Ok … how to sign up? Simply call the clubhouse at 719-275-5400 to reserve a spot in one or both of these fun events on the September schedule. Please remember Glow Golf must be prepaid ($75) at time of sign up.

We’re expecting the end of the Summer Social Series to be the same as the beginning and as it has throughout … something special. A chance to gather with your significant other, your family, and/or your friends and enjoy good food, good drink and the amazing experience that Four Mile Golf Course is.

Pizza and Putting and Glow Golf will be an absolutely spectacular way to finish this social journey we have been on since the end of May. We invite you to come and one last time. Ok, actually two last times 😉😂.

Four Mile fans, here we go!

We are excited to be able to now release the "Summer Social Series"! It took one final phone call today to get the schedule finished and here it is. The Summer Social Series is a invitation for golfers and their friends to come to Four Mile in the evenings these next few weeks for a bit of food and drink in and around the beauty that this Four Mile course is.

We're operating with a theme for all of these events as none of them will be real tournaments. They'll be no pressure putts or worries about slices off the tee boxes as the end goal is to simply enjoy the people you are out there with. Yes, scores will be kept and you'll want your final number as we're sure there will be conversations around the firepits about how it all went down with some potential bragging rights involved. At every event, there will be contests of some type for prizes.

Saturday evening was a fantastic start to the Series as the entire course was full for Pizza and Putting. From The Flames_Mobile Wood Fired Pizza & Catering got the evening started with their deliciousness and The Winery At Holy Cross Abbey added to the ambiance with four of their award winning wines. From there the groups went to the "tee boxes" located on each of the greens to putt. Only three scores counted on each hole as most of the holes were par two with three par ones sprinkled in there. Do the math and par for the night was 99. It was fun to hear the groups at the afterparty talk about their scores and their was some question about the low reported score of 101. In the end, the only number that mattered was 2 which represented the two hours they got to spend with their significant other, their good friends or their families under a perfect sky on the beauty of this course. Tons of pictures were taken, laughter was heard throughout the course and perhaps our favorite comment of the night was "I can't remember when the last time my wife and I had a date night". This night was such a success that it is back on the calendar for Sept. 12th!

We invite you to look through the schedule of events and start planning your teams now. Pizza and Putting was sold out and we envision each of the events in the series to be the same. Every event is paired together with a local businesses who will be serving the food and providing the drinks. We're grateful for The Artful Platter Pizza Madness, Brandee’s Bites, Jewett's Liquor Colorado to be joining From The Flames and The Abbey Winery in being a part of the Series lineup.

Speaking of partnering, check out Sat. July 11th! That's right, Glow Vibe Golf will be back at Four Mile for another night of lighting up the sky. The format will be nine holes in the daylight, come in for dinner being served by Pizza Madness, and then back out for another nine in the dark. Talk about having fun! This event is priced at $90 per person which includes the 18 holes of golf and dinner. With the expense for Four Mile in providing this evening, golfers will need to prepay at the time of signup. You can come by the course for signup and pay or call in your reservation and we will process a credit card payment manually. Like all of the events, we're expecting this to be a sellout so make sure to a spot while they are available.

Summer nights just got a bit better with this Summer Social Series as it could be date night, family night or even friends night. Any way you look at it, it's going to be something special. We hope you'll consider being a part of it. Good news is you can reserve a spot at any or all of the events now by simply calling the clubhouse at 719-275-5400. You just need to tell them which event and how many people and you’ll need to provide an email and phone number for contact.

Heads up! Deadlines are coming up quick for the Royal Gorge 6 & 12.

April 18 - price and shirt deadline

Race date: May 16th

Come join us at the Royal Gorge Six and Twelve, just outside of Cañon City, CO! This 6-12 hour endurance event is held at the beautiful Royal Gorge Park. Ride as a solo, duo, or team to complete the most laps in 6 or 12 hours while hanging out in a gorgeous, family friendly venue. This is currently Zia Rides only event ever in CO, and we hit the jackpot using Cañon City as a host.
