Pachyderm Recording Studio

The Midwest premier residential studio. Pachyderm Recording Studio has been home to many local and national bands over the years.

John Kuker purchased the studio in 2011 and spent 4 years renovating the home and studio to its former glory. At its' peak, Pachyderm was home to bands such as Nirvana, Soul Asylum, Jayhawks, Trampled by Turtles, and many many more. Extensive rennovations have been completed to the studio and grounds. John passed away in 2015, just before the big unveiling of all of his hard work of this studio. John's family now owns and operates the studio with help from John's longtime friend Nick Tveitbakk, who is the Studio Manager.

Yam Haus have been to the studio several times in several different capacities. Sometimes coming to record singles with various producers, other times coming to soak in the inspirational valley and write songs with other songwriters. This last session was the best yet.

Teaming up with , these guys really knocked these songs out of the park. We can’t wait to have them back again.
