We wrapped up our 5th Slice of Summer concert with Stump City Soul, and in true tradition, it came with some of the hottest temps of the summer! 🔥 If you weren’t dancing on the lawn, you were definitely dancing in your seat—this show was an absolute blast.
A huge thank-you to all of our bands, to Spectrum Acoustics for keeping the sound amazing, and to all of our vendors for keeping us fed and cool. And most of all, thank YOU—our community—for showing up with your energy and support. You are the reason we do this, and we can’t wait to keep growing this concert series to bring everyone together year after year. ❤️🎶

Big Plans really delivered for our 4th Slice of Summer concert! Their smooth blend of jazz and rhythm & blues had the crowd swaying and smiling all evening long. Even with temps soaring into the 90s, their cool sound made it easy to stay and soak in every note.

Bringing it back old school for our 3rd Slice of Summer concert was Whip Wilson, with an incredible mix of his own originals and some timeless classics. 'God Bless Chris LeDoux' 😁🤠 The crowd loved it! Nothing beats watching the line dancing and two-stepping all evening long.

Our 2nd Slice of Summer concert was packed with all the country music our hearts could desire! Bootleg Ridge gave us plenty of high school flashbacks, man the '90s were amazing! 😉
Even without photos this week, the music and energy spoke for themselves.

This summer was a hot one—both in temperature and with the incredible talent that lit up our Slice of Summer concerts! For the first time, we kicked things off in June, and it proved to be the perfect start to the season. The Canby High School Jazz Band (Canby Music Boosters) and the Canby Music Band set the tone with fantastic performances that had the crowd buzzing.
A very special thank you goes out to Sophia at Rhythm N’ Rose Photography for capturing so many amazing moments at nearly all of our concerts. Your talent and dedication mean so much to us—we truly appreciate you!

Hey Canby!
The fair and rodeo are rolling into town this week, and the fairgrounds are already buzzing with 4-H and FFA kids moving in their projects. We can’t wait to see you out there supporting their hard work (and yes… the rides, rodeo, and all the other fair fun are worth checking out too!).

But tonight—we’ve got FREE music right here in Wait Park! 🎶
No admission, no parking fees—just grab your friends and neighbors, bring your lawn chairs & dancing shoes, and enjoy Big Plans starting at 6:00 p.m.

We’ll have plenty of cold drinks, sweet treats, and tasty eats to keep you fueled while you soak up the music and community vibes—before our little town gets packed for fair week.

See you tonight for a great evening under the summer sky! 🌞🎵
