I’ve been on a for about 6 months now.

Pros:
- better digestion
- better + more stable mood
- increased energy
- Increased productivity
- physically stronger
- mental clarity

Cons:
- more expensive than fake food

I’m not sure to what degree these benefits are from removing processed foods, or simply from removing carbs (I shoot for less than grams daily).

But… I don’t miss sugar at all. I do still miss sweet potato fries though!

I do get my blood labs every 6 months. I’m starting to believe the “education” we were given in the 80’s and 90’s was simply wrong.

The body doesn’t lie. And it’s one of the only things AI won’t be able to do for us.

Being a DJ isn’t just about talent. You can have the tightest mixes, the cleanest transitions, and a deep crate of fire tracks — but if no one knows you, you’ll stay unheard.

Relationships and connections are the real amplifiers of your career. The people you meet — promoters, club owners, other DJs, producers, and even regular fans — can open doors your skills alone can’t. The energy you bring offstage is just as important as what you deliver onstage.

When you network genuinely (not just for clout), you build trust, reputation, and opportunities that talent alone won’t create. Someone will always be watching how you move, how you treat others, and how you carry yourself.

So keep honing your craft, but also invest in your connections. Show up, support others, share knowledge, and be authentic.

Was an honor to be the host MC for Nike’s North American Soccer Sales Club last night at .

It was a rare and unique opportunity to not be the DJ. In fact it gave me a refreshing perspective as I watched DJ do her thing on the turntables.

One of the highlights was introducing soccer star player at center pitch, who awarded medals to some of the Nike team members.

I gotta say, if I ever went back to corporate American, has an incredible team culture that I could see myself being a part of.

Looking through old photos — first of me as a child, then of me raising my own children — I feel joy, pain, happiness and sorrow.

Regret battles to take my mind captive, while manipulating the good intentions of my heart.

The mistakes are too many to count.

I yearn for the opportunity to go back and do it better. While caring voices assure me I’ve done well.

Thankfully the story is still being written. This is only half time. No longer do I care about the points on the scoreboard. Instead I’m simply grateful to still be in the game.

The goal is to win, sure. But my definition of winning is evolving.

As I look at images from the past, I’m reminded how quickly life moves.

That only by leading with love, seeking wisdom and being courageous, will we find our true selves.

This is how we become fearless. Only then can we embrace the mistakes of our past with the same appreciation as the undeserved glory we are quick to claim as our own.

The foundation is humility and recognition of our impermanence in this earth.

The legacy we leave isn’t in the things we own or the medals on our wall, but in the lives we touch and the people we help.

Every kindness, every lesson, every moment of love ripples outward…

Time is fleeting, but impact can be timeless.

This is legacy.
