It was truly an honor to be selected by the City of Columbus Department of Neighborhoods to provide décor and photo booth services for the 25th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Youth Oratorical Contest.

Hearing students from across Columbus speak their hearts, thoughts, and dreams in front of a room filled with admiration was powerful. Their voices reflected not only the legacy of Dr. King, but the promise of our future.

Together, Good Time Mascots Events & Decor and It’s in the Air Balloons & Event Decor had the privilege of designing multiple spaces throughout the event—creating an atmosphere worthy of the moment.

As Dr. King said:
“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’”

We’re grateful to play a small part in uplifting the next generation and honoring a legacy that continues to move us all forward.

It was truly an honor for my mother and I to contribute to the City of Columbus’ “One Dream, Many Voices” MLK Day celebration at the historic Lincoln Theatre by creating the balloon sculpture and marquee display for this meaningful program.

To be trusted with helping set the atmosphere for a moment that reflects unity, service, and remembrance is something we do not take lightly. This work goes far beyond décor — it is about storytelling, respect, and uplifting our community through excellence and purpose.
