This one is always difficult for me and in honor of Memorial Day, I’m remembering my friend, my teammate, and fellow 46V, Kevin Parker.

Kevin passed away in 2022, but the memories, laughs, and time we shared in uniform will always stay with me. The Army creates bonds that are hard to explain unless you’ve lived it, and Kevin was someone I was proud to serve beside and call a friend.

Today isn’t just about a long weekend — it’s about remembering the people who impacted our lives and honoring those no longer with us.
