The Pilastar on the northeast corner, below the conference room was completely destroyed by termites. There was no support for this corner of the building and it had to be completely reconstructed. To do so, the building's 7000 square feet was lifted in part onto 'jacks' from the basement for the structure to be rebuilt.

As restoration began. Photos around Summer/Fall 2006. Renovations included; removal of asbestos, new electrical system throughout home to replace the old K**b and Tube, the original coal grate return was moved and utilized as a a return for the first floor central system, smart wiring for offices, repair of severe termite damage and structural repair, install new heating and cooling systems using Geothermal, replace entire roof in February 2013 after repairing and patching 4 times, 40,000 pounds of old roofing was removed. The whole building's interior was repaired, resurfaced, scraped and painted. The 1900 Pine hardwood floors were brought back to life. There were broken windows throughout home and energy efficient replicas were made and replaced old. Insullation was added throughout home. The original shutters were stripped and restored. The nine piece custom cornice around the exterior of the house was custom cut and restored to its original appearance, the aluminum coil stock was removed, and much much more...
