Hello Everyone!
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be postponing the start of our African Dance classes by one week. Our first class will now be held on Wednesday, July 15.

Juneteenth is in full effect and Universal African Dance & Drum Ensemble is on the move! ✊🏾🥁❤️

Today started bright and early at Fox 29, where it was truly a family affair as we performed alongside The Trumpet Chicks and one of our amazing directors, Sistah Ronsha Dickerson.

Now we're taking the celebration on the road!

Today we celebrate and honor the life of a true legend. A man of wisdom, strength, love, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, community leader, mentor, and friend to so many.

Today, he would have turned 72 years old. Though he is no longer with us physically, his legacy lives on through every life he touched, every lesson he taught, and the love he poured into his family and community.

Dad, you are missed more than words can express, but your presence is felt every day. We cherish the memories, hold tight to your wisdom, and continue to make you proud.
