HAPPY NEW YEAR— Celebrating 9+ years on CALVERT’s HISTORIC MAIN STREET and wishing you the best in 2026. This past year, we were excited to feature Texas-based designer brands, Kendra Scott jewelry, Consuela hand bags and Blue Planet Eco Eyewear. The boutique is curated by The Farmer's Daughter Boutique and the apothecary section by Texas Wildflower + Boho. We recently added culinary with international award winning Texas olive oils and building a home collection with florals, dried bontaticals and plants along with entertainment lifestyle tableware. We are proud to introduce artists and their works: Hands To Heart pottery, JB Custom knives, Geopetro granite, Cathy Morris—equestrian sculptures and Southern Plantation Studio’s vintage handcrafted jewelry. We are open weekly, 10am-5pm and Sundays till 3pm. We are continuing to evolve the store so please stop by to experience shopping on Calvert’s Main Street. Revitalizing Calvert Main St.

With a love for historic towns and buildings, my passion has been to revitalize historic Calvert's Main Street Business District and restore several of the buildings in the 700 block of Main Street. The buildings date back to the 1880s during the Victorian Era and for me, historic preservation is the ultimate form of recycling and the greenest buildings are those that are already built. Calvert was a huge attraction with the 3rd largest historic district in Texas on the National Registry (more than 37 blocks).

UNDER THE CHANDELIER LLC is the first restoration project my family worked on and is located at 702 S. Main Street. The store is an antique, vintage, architectural salvage and home & garden store. Built in the late 1880's, the restoration project for Under the Chandelier was a labor of love that opened in May 2016.

FARMERS TO MARKET LLC as Calvert Coffee Company was the next restoration project next to Under the Chandelier at 704 S. Main St. The coffee shop opened in November 2018 and has been exciting to meet so many people in the community, neighboring towns and visitors traveling through Calvert on State Highway 6.

Future restoration projects include CALVERT SOUTH at 702 S. Main (corner of Hanna St.)with another retail/eatery space of 4,500 square feet. It also includes an outdoor courtyard venue with outdoor fireplace and chapel/conservatory.
