If I could explode my personality into a party, this would be it. Pink, sparkly, nostalgic, a little over the top, really good food and a day of fun 💕 but the best memory is the overwhelming amount of people who showed up to celebrate me and this new era….that means more to me than anything 🫶

It wasn’t perfect and I didn’t even get all the photos I wanted but It was all the people I love in the same space.. near and far. I couldn’t have asked for anything more 🩷

At Smōkd , food is only part of what we do. We bring together creativity, design, hospitality and the operational expertise to make it all work.

This welcome dinner at Moonrise Valley 🌳🛶🌕 Events • Weddings • Retreats • Lodging was built on trust. We were given the freedom to take their vision and run with it, creating everything from the food and beverages to the layered buffet, guest flow and finishing details 👌

What started with a vision for an evening became something we are incredibly proud of.

Last weekend curiosity led the way. The girls wandered from table to table, encountered for the first time, couldn’t believe Clifford was there in real life, chatted with authors, and left with books they chose entirely on their own.

The reason I care so much about planning & events is my mom 🦀❤️ We started this tradition not for a trendy social media post or a Pinterest moment but because it brought everyone together.

The older I get, the more I realize I may be more like her than I think. Hospitality, family gatherings, and creating meaningful experiences all started with her and…probably a little inspiration.

She taught me that the best memories are made while cooking together, that there’s always room for one more at the table, and that hospitality isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating moments that make people feel welcome, comfortable, and at home.

And as I continue building this next chapter…those lessons remain at the heart of everything I do 📝
