Join us as Sacramento as a garbage man!
On Tuesday July 26, 2016, Make-A-Wish®, Randle Communications and Waste Management have teamed up to grant a wish for a six-year-old boy from Rancho Cordova with cystic fibrosis.
Ethan will be wearing a custom garbage man’s uniform while driving around Sacramento in his very own garbage truck. Along the way he will have the chance to recycle, reduce and reuse along with the help of the “Three R’s” Super Heroes and Recycle Rex. The route will end at the State Capitol with a special “press conference” where local leaders, including Mayor-Elect Darrell Steinberg and Sacramento Police Chief Sam Somers will commend Ethan for his hard work to clean up Sacramento.
To make this day spectacular for Ethan, we need the community’s support in spreading the word and inviting friends, family and colleagues to cheer on Ethan at the capitol. We’re asking everyone to cheer on Ethan along his garbage route and most importantly, at his final stop at the State Capitol.
If you can join us, please bring as many people as you can, make signs, and get ready to cheer Ethan on. Be sure to spread the word on social media using .
