What an unforgettable celebration! 🇺🇸❤️💙
As we wrap up the California, Missouri 250th Independence Day Celebration, we simply want to say THANK YOU.
Thank you to every volunteer who gave their time, every sponsor who believed in this vision, every committee member who spent countless hours planning, every city employee, first responder, performer, vendor, participant, and organization that helped make this celebration possible. From the parade and 5K to the Soap Box Derby, Touch-A-Truck, Kids Zone, Bingo, Quilt display, Archery, Co****le, Historic presentations, Scavenger hunt, Decorating contest, City pool, Birthday Cake, live music, and the incredible fireworks finale—every event came together because of the dedication of so many amazing people.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Seeing families, friends, and neighbors making memories together throughout the day reminded us what makes our community so special.
This celebration was more than just an event—it was a tribute to 250 years of American independence and a showcase of the pride, generosity, and spirit that make California, Missouri such an incredible place to call home.
We hope everyone had as much fun as we did, and we can’t wait to see you at future community events!
