I wanted to share Bob's obituary:
Robert David Wallace
March 12, 1956 - June 2, 2017
Bob was born in Boise, ID to William “Bill” Franklin and Lucille Lloyd Wallace, second of four boys. They led an adventurous childhood in Dry Creek Valley. His Grandma Murphy was a special part of his life. The stories!
Bob attended Indiana University, College of Idaho, Mannes School of Music, graduating George Fox 1999 and BSU Horticultural Science 2011. Employment included Certified Rug Cleaners, manager at the 92nd St. Y Jewish Cultural Center, NYC, and MPC, but his true passion was Ramona’s Flower Farm. Bob raised the bar of excellence for locally grown flowers. We love local florists and they love us. He was able to live his dream. Bob cannot be discussed without mentioning his unique voice. Whether speaking, singing or laughing, his spirit moved others. Bob’s other passions were his Lord, family, music, and birds. Opera, pigeons, chickens. Oh My!
Bob married Ramona Dotson, a Capital High acquaintance, in 1988. He was so, so proud of their five children!
Preceded in death by his grandparents and parents, he is missed, and held dear, by wife, Ramona; children: Jesse Robert, Rosalind “Roz” Grace (Greg Johnson), Samuel “Sam” David (Alexis) and daughter Thea, Mary Kathleen, William Patrick; Brothers: Frank (Sue), Jeff “Fuffrey” (Alicia), Brett; Sister: Samantha (Jeremiah Wagner); several nieces and nephews; Best friends Pastor Geoff and Judy Cole; Best Buds Puggie and Daisy-Doo.
Bob was a man of great passions, genius, and love for his fellow man, and most importantly, his God. He loved Jesus!
Celebration of Life is Saturday, June 10, 11am, Ustick Road Church of the Nazarene, 817 W. Ustick Rd, Caldwell, ID, dove release and potluck following.
