🎃 NavaRio Pumpkin Decorating Contest! 🎃

2026 NavaRio Ranch Horse Show - Hallo-Winners presented by College Station Ford

Time to get creative! Pumpkins can be painted or carved, so bring your best ideas and show us what you’ve got!

A few important things to know:

🎃 Drop-off: All pumpkins must be on the trail course by 11:30 AM to be judged. Morning competitors are welcome to drop theirs off at the designated spot near the trail course before the show starts so they can be included in morning photos!

🏆 Judging: 12:00 PM (noon)

📸 Pick-up: Pumpkins can be picked up starting at 1:00 PM. We’d love for everyone to leave theirs out as long as possible so we can include them in afternoon show photos!

🍁 Don’t want your pumpkin back? We’re happy to donate any pumpkins left behind to the community to use as decorations!

We can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with! Happy decorating! 🎃

October 24th HalloWINNERS Stall Info:

Stalls are going QUICKLY for this show! We have opened up additional stalls on Saddlebook now, so if you have not been able to sign up for a stall previously, there are now 6 stalls remaining!

If you can no longer attend the show and do not need your stall, please let us know as quickly as possible so we can open your slot to other riders on a waitlist.

Stall assignments will be sent out the week of the show. If you have any special requests for stalling please send your requests to [email protected] no later than Tuesday, October 20th.

2026 NavaRio Ranch Horse Show - Hallo-Winners October 24 Costume Contest Rules:

1) Costume contest fun class will take place at the conclusion of the AM show (approximately 12:00PM) on the haunted trail course.
2) Competitors may ride OR show their horse in-hand in their costumes.
3) Costumes MUST be safe for horse and rider as well as fellow competitors. Costumes may NOT drag the ground with potential to get caught on objects. Additionally costumes are not allowed that will intentionally spook other horses.
4) Riders may compete in the show in their costumes as long as the costume does not impact correct/safe show tack and attire. Riders must still show in boots, jeans, a western saddle, and bridle.
5) Contestants will be competing in 3 categories: best overall, cutest, and most creative costume.

Miracle Farm Boys Ranch students Ty’lerr, Andrew, and Samual are proud to announce their FREE rope handling demonstration and Q&A at the October 24 NavaRio Ranch Horse Show! Demonstration skills include coiling, position, and delivery. After the demonstration, competitors will have the opportunity to grab a rope and practice what they’ve learned under the guidance of the instructors!

How does the NavaRio show bill work?!

Our show is split into two - one morning show for youth and green horse competitors and an afternoon show for the adult divisions. On the showbill this is shown with the AM show on top and PM show on bottom.

From there, we have the showbill split by arena. The main arena is the big one - you can’t miss it! The auxiliary arena is the smaller one in the stall barn. And the trail “arena” is actually put in the pasture behind the dirt arenas.

Under each arena is the order of classes that they run in and each division in the order they will run. So this show is set up for all Walk/Trot Divisions to begin in the Auxiliary Arena, move to the trail and handling, and end in the Main Arena while all loping divisions begin in the main arena, complete all their draw classes and then move outside to do their trail and handling!

Still have questions on how to read the showbill or where you need to be at what time? Drop them in the comments and help another competitor that might have the same question!

𝓢𝔀𝓮𝓮𝓽𝓼 𝓕𝓸𝓻 𝓒𝓒

The equestrian community, alongside many NavaRio staff and competitors, were deeply affected by the sudden passing of Dr. Cadena and our hearts hurt for her family and friends.

At the October 24 NavaRio Show we will be hosting “Sweets for CC” headed up by her close friend and colleague Brecca Jo Wheaton, in loving memory of her love for all things sweet.

Donated sweets will be available to all competitors and spectators free of charge. All we ask is that you consider contributing to the Cierra Cadena Memorial Fund. We will have a cash tip jar available or you can contribute directly to the fund in the comments below (we will also have a QR code at the booth the day of the show).

𝒜 𝓃𝑜𝓉𝑒 𝒻𝓇𝑜𝓂 𝐵𝓇𝑒𝒸𝒸𝒶:
“If you knew Cierra, you knew she loved anything sweet almost as much as she loved the people and animals around her.
“Sweets for CC” feels like such a simple, fitting way to remember my girl. I wish more than anything she were here to share them with us, laughing that laugh we all miss so much.
Please grab something sweet, share a memory, and help us continue to say her name and carry her love forward. Every donation to the Cierra Cadena Legacy Fund helps ensure that the impact she made during her life continues far beyond it. I hope Cierra somehow gets to see a table overflowing with sweets and a community gathered around it because they loved her.
