I wish more people knew that you don't have to choose between a micro wedding or a full on adventure.

You can have both those emotional and fun moments with your family and friends while also having that epic or sentimental adventure together.

A little over a year ago, K+C had an intimate river side wedding in Montana with their closest loved ones. A few days later, we met up in the mountains for their adventure session. I didn't know it at the time, but in Katrina's review, she mentioned they actually had a fear of heights and faced it together for their ski lift session.

You can read some of her review below, it still means so much to me and reminds me of why I love this job so much. It is so much more than just taking pretty photos to me.:

This time last year we were heading out on our 3 week road trip and I'm feeling nostalgic so be prepared to take a stroll down memory lane with me this month.

Our first stop on the trip was our now favorite destination, Moab. Since last June we've been lucky enough to explore and enjoy so much of the area and scout out so many gorgeous elopement locations in and around Moab for future couples.

It's been two weeks since Jordan and Tyler's fun, floral filled wedding at this little white Texas chapel. I still can't get over this fern lined aisle with the bright florals mixed in and all of the sweet moments these two got to share throughout their day.

During sunset portraits some of the kids ran around to the pond and we all heard "look, they're kissing again!!" And that moment will live on in my head rent free forever 😂

In a world full of AI, perfectionism, and performing, I want to embrace the nostalgic.

Galleries with punchy film.
Galleries with imperfections that actually show your day.
Galleries that feel like looking through your grandparents' scrapbooks.
Galleries that show that you had fun, rather than you performed.
Galleries that show the real and raw rather than perfect.

Imagine my surprise to find out I won an Elopement Legend Award!! It is such an honor to have my photo chosen alongside these winners. Seriously, check out the full list of winners. The photos this round are soooo good!

At the end of T+M's Big Bend elopement, they wrote "Just Married!" in the dust on their back glass and this photo of the wind whipping Tenisha's veil around as she watches Mason has always quietly been a favorite of mine so for it to be awarded a winner was such a cool feeling.

I have no words except Moab is forever going to be that destination I will never get enough of. You want to offroad? Moab. You want Canyons? Moab. You want Arches? Moab.
You want an incredible elopement experience in nature's playground? Moab.

Last week with Roam was such a good reminder of why I love Moab so much.

Moab is forever going to be one of my favorite places for elopements. Where else can you offroad through a canyon, walk 20 feet and find a location like this to say your vows?
