About Smoke Wrangler KC BBQ

We couldn’t be more excited to bring Kansas City barbecue to Michigan. Evan Leitnaker has been immersed in the barbecue field for almost a decade specifically in Kansas City. We relocated to Michigan recently after many summers spent in Baldwin MI at Carly Leitnaker's parent’s lakeside cabin. It’s all about the rub and the wood. After hand selecting meats, a mouth-wate

ring mix of special spices and herbs is used to coat our ribs, brisket and other menu items which are then smoked long and slow over oak wood to capture the rich juices of the high-quality meat. We enjoy experimenting with various techniques and ingredients from other cultures as well, to create a one-of-a-kind smoked experience. We’re honored to collaborate with 876 Restaurant in Baldwin, MI and will be smoking a couple of Wednesdays’ a month. We also hope to have our pop-up smoker business up and running soon at various locations.

Hello everyone, happy terrific Thursday! Are you hungry? We have our house smoked pulled pork meals available today, stop in or give us a call at 231-775-4783 to order. You can also order pizza, breadsticks, or subs if you prefer.

Don't forget we have a big weekend planned! Highline Spirits from Dexter Michigan will be at the Meauwataka General Store Saturday April 25th from 3 - 6:30 pm offering tastings of their bourbon or whiskey. Stop in and give it a try, you might find a new Michigan favorite!

Sunday April 26th is our smokin meal Sunday! We have Evan from Smoke Wrangler smoking meat at the store with us to provide tasty meal options. We will have smoked brisket, turkey breast, pulled pork, our 7 cheese mac n cheese, Evan's smoked ham salad as well as several yummy side options. Lots of deliciousness to choose from for sure! Food will be available beginning at noon on Sunday til we run out. Call us at 231-775-4783 to preorder so you don't miss out.
