Spending a lot of time reminiscing lately about old designs, designs that I purposefully worked to make sure they were timeless. Ones that wouldn’t have an “expiration date” or look outdated shortly after they were created. When I think about my wedding work & my business model, this is a very core piece. I want to create pieces that 1,5,10,100 years from now look effortlessly beautiful and lovely.

I love pairing with creatives who can take a vision and bring it to life better than I ever imagined it to be. Especially when it comes to my daughters birthday party (she’s the daughter of a wedding planner turned florist what can I say, girls got big dreams for her events!) always kills it with her cakes and I love how she uses our flowers to complete her design in a way that ties the whole event together, and completely killed it with these cookies for the girls, so glad I found her on IG because she is amazing!

I recently saw a friend of mine, , post about normalizing sharing our older work. And I am so glad she did. Just because an event wasn’t recent, doesn’t mean it wasn’t timeless or isn’t inspiring. I strive to design in a way that doesn’t have an expiration date. A way that has such a legacy. Just because this shoot was 3 years ago, doesn’t mean it isn’t inspiring. I personally loved working with this black and white color palette, it got me out of the blush funk I was in and I LOVED it. Also, that ceremony install always gives me heart eyes 💕
