After 14 incredible years, we’ve made the very difficult decision to bring the Blues and Bones Music Festival in Angels Camp to an end.

This festival has been so much more than an event — it became a community, a family, and a tradition that brought thousands of people together to celebrate great music, BBQ, and the spirit of the foothills.
None of it would have been possible without the amazing
people who supported it year after year. To every fan, sponsor, volunteer, vendor, musician, and friend who believed in Blues and Bones from the very beginning… thank you. You helped turn a simple idea into something truly meaningful.
We want to give a very special thank-you to Jeramy Norris. From the jams to the behind-the-scenes help, to being a part of this festival every single year, Jeramy has been a cornerstone of the festival. His support, musicianship, and loyalty have meant the world to us!
Additionally, we were honored to support the Special Olympics of Northern CA and the friendships we developed with Aaron and Valonda Woolam. You are truly special people!
And to all of the incredible artists we’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years— thank you for bringing the Blues to life on our stage.
We’ve been honored to host so many talented performers, including what we consider the Mount Rushmore of the Blues and Bones Festival.
Maxx Cabello Jr., Shane Dwight, Jeramy Norris, and Dennis Jones. Each of you helped shape the identity of this festival.
We also have to thank Laurie Giannini and her staff at the Calaveras Fairgrounds for being great partners year in and year out, and our artist Travis Branco for always making incredible posters and shirts.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Pitmaster, Don King.

Don was so much more than the heart behind Fat City Brew & BBQ he was a devoted father, son, and friend, and a proud member of the Stockton community. His humor, warmth, and love for great BBQ brought people together and created lasting memories around every table.

His legacy will continue to live on through every meal, every laugh, and every story shared in his honor.
