Standing together for a local wife and mother.

Last month, our Robinson's Popcorn family had the privilege of supporting a silent auction benefit for a wife and mother in our community who is facing brain cancer.

As a husband, father, and business owner, this touches my heart. Behind a medical battle is a family trying to keep going while carrying so much uncertainty, worry, and financial pressure. No family should have to carry that weight alone.

Our faith calls us to love our neighbors—not just with words, but by showing up however we can. Thank you to the organizers and everyone who gave their time, resources, and love to this benefit. Please continue to keep this mother and her family in your prayers.

This is also part of the heart behind H.O.M.E.—Helping Others Make Endeavors, a nonprofit vision I’m developing to help neighbors facing hardship. It’s still in development, but the belief behind it is simple: community means standing beside one another when life gets hard.

To Estella Robinson girl know how proud of you I really am!! Going to college full time and leading your siblings through uncharted territory at your age.

To Irene ( My Buttercup) you are so amazing you chose to stay in online school for an extra year just because you wanted us to focus on the promise. Your passion and dedication is second to none!!!

To Pammie you have grown as a customer service leader that can’t be compared to!! I watch how you make sure everyone that Pops into Robinson's Popcorn knows they are welcome!!

Ethan (Buddy) you are a you man after God’s own heart!! The way you hold yourself to a standard on stepping up for those that can’t for themselves is proof of the leadership you have in you!!

As the Kernel I want to really say we are officially certified by the Health Department and all that is left is our sign being hung!! We are expected to still open this Poptober!! Eight years of faith, family, and Robinson's Popcorn. Today, I’m sharing a milestone that means everything to me as an business owner, a husband, and a father.

We are planning a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at our Tanger Outlets store in Byron Center to celebrate our eight-year anniversary and a beautiful new chapter for our family business.

This time, I won’t be the one cutting the ribbon. My daughter, Stella, will.
I’ll be passing the Tanger store keys to her. To me, those keys represent so much more than a door—they represent trust, responsibility, and the next generation carrying our family’s dream forward.

Joy, our children, and I are endlessly thankful for everyone who has supported us on this journey. We would love for you to stand with our family as we thank God for these eight years and celebrate what’s ahead.

Happy Poptober!!

Eight years ago, I took a leap of faith and started Robinson's Popcorn. As a husband and a father, I wasn't just building a business. I was building something my family could stand on.

Joy and our kids have given so much of themselves to this: the early mornings, the late nights, and the days we weren't sure how it would all work out. They have been right beside me through every bit of it.

To every customer who has walked up to our counter, every team member who has worked hard for us, and everyone who has prayed for us and cheered us on, thank you. We would not be here without you.

Most of all, thank you, God. You have been faithful every single day for 8 years, and to You be the glory.

Today, I’m holding the keys to our new space at Twelve Oaks Mall. All I can say is: to God be the glory.

As a husband, father, and business owner, I know what it took for our family to get here. We prayed through uncertainty, kept working when the path wasn’t clear, and held on to faith when giving up would have been easier. Joy Robinson and our children have walked this journey with me every step of the way.

This moment feels like victory—not because the work is finished, but because God brought us to a door we once could only pray would open. I’m grateful for everyone who prayed for us, encouraged us, and supported Robinson's Popcorn & Buddy Rolls Subs along the way.

Twelve Oaks Mall, we have the keys. Now we get to build what comes next. Thank You, Lord.
