🔧 Underground History in the Making! ⛏️

We’re taking preservation to the next level — 100 feet underground, to be exact! The Orphan Girl 100-Level Rehabilitation Project is underway at the World Museum of Mining. 🏗️

This vital initiative replaces aging timbers, installs a new ventilation system, and improves structural safety — all to enhance your experience exploring the historic Orphan Girl Mine in Butte, Montana.

👷‍♀️ Why does it matter? Because this project helps protect one of the few exposed ore veins in North America, and preserves the original shaft station — giving you an immersive, unforgettable glimpse into Butte’s rich mining past.

Big thanks to the Butte Chamber of Commerce for hooking us up with the trolley during Big Butte Brewfest!

Starting at noon at Butte America Pub , the trolley will be running all day between Sláinte and the World Museum of Mining, making it easy (and fun!) to get to and from the party.

🎟️ Brewfest tickets are $35 and include general admission, a mug, and 5 drink tickets.
