The Historic Barns of Nipmoose is an exceptional venue in upstate New York for weddings, social gatherings, exhibits and tours. Three fully restored historic barns are perched on a knoll overlooking panoramic vistas of farm fields and woods. Private and timeless, the barns are situated in the center of a farmstead of over 120 acres. The Scottish Barn, German Barn and Corn Crib (dating from the 18t
h and 19th centuries) are flanked by a stunning aspen grove, a perennial flower bed and pond, as well as hand-laid stone walls. Inside the barns, heavy hand hewed wood beams, joined together by skilled builders, create majestic open spaces with lofty ceilings. Modern conveniences such as bathrooms and lighting have been tastefully integrated into the restoration. For evening events, one hundred lanterns are positioned on the expansive lawn, amplifying the magical and serene qualities of the site.
