The Sumter County Chamber’s new event is a celebration of the county’s important cattle beef industry. “Beef and Boogie,” scheduled forSaturday November 8 at the Sumter County Fairground in Bushnell, will feature live bands, beef cook-offs (including a competition for Sumter’s Best Burger), children’s activities, educational displays, a beauty pageant, and craft, food and merchandise vendors. EVENT WAS FUNDED IN PART BY A TOURIST DEVELOPMENT TAX GRANT FROM THE SUMTER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SUMTER COUNTY TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL.
