Providing audio reinforcement, video production, video projection screens, projectors, event hosting, sound system rental and sales, music and competition logistics and consultation for the spirit industry. Founded in 2005 as a partnership between audio guru Nick Anderson of Nick At Night DJ Service and video guru Alan Lockwood of Lockwood Media Group. The CheerAV Group quickly grew from working w

ith regional youth league competitions around Motown to powering many of the spirit industry's largest events all over the country. We've provided audio and video for leading brands including The JAM Brands, Varsity, UCA, UDA, JAMfest, Midwest Cheer, GLCC, Coastal, LIVE!, COA, National Cheer Stars, CCE, and many more. Finals tour, the first ever MAJORS event and JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals. We've won a national award for the "best coach's party" at the Cheerleading Worlds in Orlando Florida. Daytona Beach is working to secure its role as host of the NCA & NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship beyond 2026. Hotel shortages caused by hurricane damage have created challenges for accommodating teams and spectators, prompting Varsity to explore bids from other cities for the 2027-2030 contract. With financial incentives increasing and competing locations offering expanded accommodations, the future of the championship in Daytona remains uncertain.

COACHES: This almost derailed one of the performances last weekend. Turn off Apple AI before you approach the DJ table on iPhone 15 and 16. It's automatically enabled when you update the iOS (even if you had Siri off before the update). If it hears you say HEY SIRI (or thinks it hears something similar), it will stop all music playback.

We are working to learn more about the new iPhone "auto-restart" feature in iOS 18.1 (the latest iOS as of today) and how it may affect cheer and dance events.

Apple has added a new security feature with the iOS 18.1 update released last month to ensure that iPhones automatically reboot after long idle periods to re-encrypt data and make it harder to extract.
