I finally get to share one of the most inspiring creative shoots of my life!!!! My dear friend called me one day and said, “Hey, what if we put my ceramic wheel in the river?” I didn’t even hesitate before saying, “Why the hell not?”

Two cinder blocks, one giant river stone, a power bank, some troubleshooting, and a few dips in the cold water later, here’s what we came up with.

So, if you have an outlandish idea for a creative photoshoot, I’m exactly the person to ask. Chances are, no concept is too out there for me 🤪

I was not prepared for how this paddle boarding engagement session was going to absolutely light my heart on fire ❤️‍🔥 Evergreen, CO delivered us a Notebook-level golden hour, complete with soft haze and warm, glowing light.

PS we almost got kicked off the lake because they were “closing”, but then they let us keep shooting once they saw how cute my couple was 🥹

Something about this engagement session at the base of the Flatirons just stayed with me. The haze, the tall grass, the way they moved easily without needing to think about it.

J & B have been in each other’s lives since high school, and there’s this quiet, steady romance between them that you can sense before they even say a word. My job wasn’t to pose them, but rather to guide them just enough so the real moments could unfold naturally. That’s the heart of documentary-style photography: creating space for your story to happen, then being ready when it does.
