Unfortunately, the candlelight tour for tomorrow night has been closed to the public. According to some comments, people don't understand what we are doing here. We have been in the Belladonna for two months now. The first two questions people ask is "is it haunted" and "oh, I wanna see it". Our objective was to open the house to the public for events and parties. It is a beautiful home and deserves to be appreciated by all. The whole idea behind the candlelight tour was to give the interested people a chance to see the inside and see a professional paranormal group investigate with the latest equipment. In order to do this, it takes time, labor, and yes money. Where else can you go and have a room for the night, snacks, and breakfast, plus see a paranormal group in action and not pay for anything? If you know of a place, let us know because we would love to go! In order to do these things, we have to be able to cover expenses. We are not scammers, liars or cheaters. We are Burlington residents who did not want to see this this beautiful, historic property fall to ruins.
To be quite honest, I was stunned by some of the comments made by some of the people of this community, whom which I certainly would have thought would have conducted themselves a little more professionally. Maybe before everyone jumped to conclusions and began throwing stones and name calling, someone would have thought to ask for more information??? Maybe you believe in spirits and maybe you don't. The purpose of this event was to find out. I can tell you this....you will never find something you don't believe in.
So, with all that being said, the Belladonna is not open to the public at this time. Any event held here will be private and by invitation only until further notice. We wish you all love, light and happiness.
