🚧 Heads up, Burlington! Washington Street Closures Starting Thursday, Oct. 23 🚧

We’re doing some road reconstruction, and parts of Washington Street will be closed for a few weeks.

800 Block (Central Ave → N. 8th St)
This section will be closed to through traffic and open only for local businesses. You can access it from 8th Street or under the Central/Washington overpass. It’s expected to stay closed for about 4 weeks. The detour will be Central → Division → 6th Streets.

N. 3rd Street Intersection (200–300 Blocks of Washington)
This intersection will be closed to all traffic and pedestrians. Alleys nearby will still be open for local traffic, and the 3rd & Washington parking ramp remains open via N. 3rd & Columbia Street. This closure is expected to last about 6 weeks. Detour: N. 4th → Jefferson → Main Streets.

Pedestrians:
Access the 300 block of N. 3rd from Jefferson Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be allowed through the N. 3rd & Washington intersection during construction.
