Fun to watch the first episode on such a big screen (with people seeing it for the first time) and hear from the cast and crew afterwards. Such an incredibly acted, written and produced series.

2 years ago I got to meet the three creators of Hacks and tell them personally how much their show means to me. They even expressed their love for Bob’s Burgers (they know one of the showrunners I work with through their kids). The season 5 finale was nothing short of brilliant. They told me they pitched a five season run to HBO from the beginning (and hoped they’d get it) so they wrote the entire run to reach the end they’d always planned. Just incredibly thoughtful, important, well written and acted television. ❤️

6 years ago today the animated show Central Park premiered on Apple TV. It took a year and half to complete the 10 episodes in season 1. Working on this show was a joy, a mountain to climb and a musical adventure with some of the best in the business. It was a tall order to produce three songs in every episode of the caliber we knew they needed to be. Such a great team made this possible. Something I’m very proud to have a small part of.

Tonight I got to hear one of my favorite albums ever recorded, Present: RUMOURS! The Music of Fleetwood Mac. What a great night of live music, with such talented singers and musicians, including the one and only who sings on my album, “Electricity”. Rumours was the album that made me want to make music. ❤️

I went to get blood drawn yesterday, signed in to the automated system, and heard a computer voice in Madonna’s British accent say “Mark 5 D H”

And I immediately realized that should have been my music producer name all along. Oh well. Too thousand and late. But you can still listen to my new album. Link in Bio.
