My name is Otis Brown, and I, alongside Elise Zamora, are the proud founders of Above the Rim Buford, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and uplifting the youth in our community. As an organization that plays a vital role in shaping Buford, we would love for you to join us in making a meaningful impact.

At Above the Rim Buford, we work with 30 to 40 children, providing them with meals, mentorship, and guidance to help them grow into responsible and successful individuals. Having grown up in Buford myself and graduated from Buford High School, I have spent over 25 years mentoring and supporting local youth. Elise, my wife and co-founder, is also deeply connected to our community, serving as Head Custodian at Buford High School. Together, we have raised six children—four of whom have graduated from Buford schools, with our youngest currently in 5th and 1st grade.

We are reaching out to you, because we believe in the power of community. Your support—whether through financial contributions, in-kind donations, or sponsorship—can help us continue to provide essential resources and opportunities for these children. Your generosity will not only nourish young lives but also inspire hope, confidence, and a brighter future.
