My name is Emily Smaczniak and I am the owner/operator of Emily Smaczniak Event Rentals! I am born and raised in Buffalo, NY! I am married to the love of my life and one day, I hope to have a big family :) I attended my home church my entire life, earning the unofficial title of "decor coordinator" for special events in our youth center. I have my Bachelor's degree in Public Communications, which

includes Event Planning. My passion is special events, specifically weddings! My favorite thing to do is come along side of you and help create the perfect event you are looking for. Well hello!! It’s been a hot minute.. My life has been a TAD extra busy than normal.. But here we are, FULL SWING back into wedding season and I COULD. NOT. BE. HAPPIER 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Today, we kicked off the season with one of my favorite themes ever!! When the Bride & Groom’s favorite hobby is to travel together, the Bridal Shower theme HAS to be “Traveling from Miss to Mrs!” 🌍 Not only was I honored to help decorate for this beautiful couple, I was blessed to be a guest! Special shout-out to one of my besties (who happened to be the Matron of Honor) .michelle.smith for helping host a wonderful afternoon! And of course I couldn’t have done it without girls and 💕 We love you and can’t wait to party at the wedding!! 💍

Last weekend was AMAZING💜💜 What a journey it was getting to this point.. So many hard decisions to be made ( ). These two handled the whole thing with absolute grace. I was blessed and HONORED to be able to help plan, decorate and coordinate the most special day of their lives. My name is Emily Smaczniak and I am the Owner and Event Stylist of Emerald Detail & Design.

Emerald Detail & Design is here to meet every one of your wedding and event planning needs, including start-to-finish planning, assistance in overall design and concept creation and implementation of every little detail. Emerald D&D also offers very unique decor pieces for rent, such as card boxes, centerpieces, chair covers, chargers, votives, etc.

My experience comes from planning, designing and coordinating countless events including: weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, graduation parties, birthday parties, holiday parties, etc. Along with my passion for weddings and all other special events, I also earned the title of “Decor Coordinator” at my local church.
