Our season of summer camps has officially come to a close and we are still beaming with joy! We want to extend a major THANK YOU to every person involved with our summer programming this year. Thanks to you, our summer camps reached over 800 people. To every teaching artist, student, parent, volunteer, and more, we could not have done it without you. Cheers to a fantastic summer and we cannot wait for next year!✨

Congratulations to the cast and staff of SSMTI 2025! Friday concluded another fantastic year of our summer camp, Shea’s Summer Musical Theatre Intensive with a performance from the 80 participating students on the Shea’s Buffalo stage. Onto our next camp, Actor’s Edge, starting tomorrow!✨❤️

Just 3 weeks from today, Jonah Higgins and Naomi Lawley will make their official Broadway debuts in the 2025 Jimmy Awards at the Minskoff Theatre in NYC! We cannot wait to see them shine up on the same stage where The Lion King performs 8 times a week. These 2 phenomenal performers are READY to represent Western New York and we couldn't be more excited for them! The Jimmy Awards

Today we are thrilled to highlight two members of our department who have opened professional productions right here in Buffalo recently! Our Arts Education Coordinator, Jake Grear, served as the Assistant Director and Photographer for MusicalFare Theatre's production of Legally Blonde the Musical at the Shea's 710 Theatre, and our Lead Teaching Artist, Alejandro Gómez, plays the role of Somebody in Ujima Company Inc.'s production of Everybody. We are sending a huge congratulations to them and we hope you'll go support them and local theatre!
