Friday, October 24th Tifft or Treat Halloween Party at TIFFT NATURE PRESERVE!
We are excited to see you! Let's have a boo-tiful, spooktacular evening together!
1.) Doors open at 6PM; the event ends at 9PM. Entry times are staggered to reduce congestion at the door. 6PM ticket holders (almost SOLD OUT) may arrive anytime between 6-7PM. 7PM ticket holders may arrive between 7-7:30PM. (The sun sets at 6:18pm and it will be dark at 6:47pm).
2.) Please drive back and park next to the Education Center or in the Front Lot or along Fuhrmann Blvd (parking is first come, first served). If a guest has a mobility concern, please find a spot anywhere in the back lot, or feel free to drop the guest off and park up front, or contact us before the event to discuss.
3.) Check-in at the Education Center front desk upon arrival.
Here is what you have to look forward to in the Education Center and on the trails!:

6:15PM-8:15PM - FREE face-painting for children (and adults!) with www.TheSmilingFacePainter.com
6:00PM-9:00PM - Make-n-Take Halloween Crafts.
6:00PM-9:00PM - Complete a scavenger hunt on a self-guided, candle-lit Luminary Trail Loop at your own pace through the woodlands and Cattail Marsh overlook (keep an eye and ear out for real beaver, whitetail deer, and maybe an owl too!).
6:00PM-9:00PM - Relax and enjoy Mayer Bros. hot apple cider and Paula's donut holes.
6:00PM-9:00PM - Complete a puzzle, use a cipher, and decode the mystery word for a prize!
*Halloween costumes encouraged! Please make sure you are comfortable, can walk safely, and it is family-friendly.
If you walk the Luminary Trail Loop, please dress warmly for the weather (40-50F) and wear sturdy footwear. Feel free to bring a small flashlight or borrow one of ours. Unsupervised children will be fed to the beavers (just kidding). Please be respectful of all guests also attending this event.

Children's Tifft or Treat Halloween Party - Tifft Nature Preserve
Join us for a children’s not-so-scary Halloween party indoors and on the trails! Your young ghouls will encounter LIVE axolotl, spiders, lizards, snakes, and frogs with Mark Carra of FaciNature, make-n-take crafts, hot cider, donuts, and hands-on fun activities indoors. Outdoors, venture into the woods for an optional trail scavenger hunt. Wear your family-friendly Halloween costume to be entered for prizes in our costume contest (for adults too)!
