If you are heading out to the state fair today, check out my flowers in the horticultural building. They are on display until 9 PM this evening. I competed in the floral designer of the year competition. The theme was glamour garden party. I made a Louis Vuitton purse for one of my entries. The other had to be a hat and I used my mother-in-law’s Saks Fifth Avenue hat from back in the day. There’s lots of amazing pieces of work there. Go check it out. If you happen to vote for the people’s choice award, my number is 35 if you feel so inclined! 🐝
