The 4th Annual 'Pretty in Black' - a Misfit Prom and the LAST Evil Forebodings Dance Night. is going down tonite at The Merry Shelley and we want to celebrate over FOUR YEARS of incredible memories and friendships made with all of you, our TMS family! We hope you can join us for a long night of dancing, drinking (great alc & na options), and more great memories. Don't forget, it's the prom we always wanted, but never got, so wear your best prom attire!

We'll also be celebrating Pride Month! In addition to all the great music you have come to expect from our dance nights, with a focus on super dancey 80s retro and alternative, I'll be spinning lots of dance & alt-pop from LGBTQIA artists as well! The Merry Shelley is, and always has been, a safe and inclusive space for all, allys to our LGBTQIA community and firmly believe that you love who you love. 🌈

The Merry Shelley and I are excited to present the 4th Annual 'Pretty in Black' - a Misfit Prom and the LAST Evil Forebodings Dance Night. This is the prom we always wanted, but never got. I'll be spinning all the great music you hear during our monthly dance nights, with a special focus on super dancey alt 80’s greatness as well as dance/alt pop from LGBTQIA+ artists in celebration of Pride Month! Prom attire is highly encouraged, so we can take all the photos for the yearbook (OK, social media).

Plus, DJ Billie Page is celebrating her 50th with us, so come join the festivities and wish her a very happy birthday!!

This will also be our VERY LAST Evil Forebodings Dance Night and we want to end it with a big party and with all of you!

🖤 SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 🖤

I am beyond thrilled, excited, and honored to announce that I have been added to the ULTRA SUNN show at Photo City Music Hall in Rochester, NY on Sunday, 9/20/26 as special guest DJ for the evening, alongside my friend Zachary in Komrads and incredible dark wave newcomers, SOFT VEIN.

Anyone who knows me knows what a HUGE fan of Ultra Sunn I am. Their music is lusciously infectious, deliciously dark, and a staple in every one of my sets. If you are not familiar with them, and enjoy bands like Depeche Mode, Front 242, Clan of Xymox and NITZER EBB, then you absolutely need to add Ultra Sunn to your playlists immediately. You won’t regret it.

The Merry Shelley and I are excited to present the 4th Annual 'Pretty in Black' - a Misfit Prom and the LAST Evil Forebodings Dance Night. This is the prom we always wanted, but never got. I'll be spinning all the great music you hear during our monthly dance nights, with a special focus on super dancey alt 80’s greatness as well as dance/alt pop from LGBTQIA+ artists in celebration of Pride Month! Had such a great time seeing Clan of Xymox and GHOST COP last night in Syracuse at The Song & Dance. Both bands were amazing. It was fantastic being able to hear so many classics from Xymox and I had the opportunity to meet Lucy and Sean from Ghost Cop. They were wonderful to talk to and extremely cordial. Plus, it was so cool to hear about Sean's connection to Buffalo. If you're not familiar with their music, def check them out. You won't regret it. ✌️🖤🤘
