Returned from Aruba on May 28th. From May 29th until June 25th, I pulled off 17 events, including 13 graduation parties. Never doing that again, but thanks to everyone who helped me over the last month. Time to enjoy the summer!!!

Now that the busiest part of catering for 2025 is nearly complete, I'm putting life on Do Not Disturb for a while. Logging out of social media and won't be responding to any customers (unless you've already booked with me) until July 21st, 2025. At that time, I will be fully opening the 2026 books for weddings and large events. Outside of graduation season, I will be booking two events a month, at most. I will also be taking bookings for graduation season 2027. Unfortunately, if you have a senior graduating next spring, I am already booked full. Remember, Smoke Meat, Not M**h!!!

Just dealt with my first bridezilla...

"Hey I'd really like to book you for my wedding November 1st of this year!"

"Sorry, but I am going to the Penn State at Ohio State game that day with family and friends. I really do appreciate you reaching out and sorry the date didn't work out."

"Well you come highly recommend so I'd like to get a quote."

"Wish I could give you one, but seeing as I'm not available that day, it would be irresponsible of me to continue this conversation. You need quotes from someone who is available to fulfill a contract that day"

Then I provided contacts for 3 other BBQ places....

"Well I've heard your food isn't s**t anyway"

"I would agree. I make everything from scratch so it definitely isn't 💩. If you're looking for that I can recommend several restaurants in town that charge twice the price of the BBQ companies I shared with you."

Happy Fathers' Day to all of the great dads out there!!! Yes, even those of you still paying twice as much for half the quality of food for your baby girl's wedding 🤪🤪🤪

Booking 2026/2027 weddings starting July 1st, 2025!!! I apologize, but 2026 graduation season, mid May through mid June is already booked full. 17 events in those 4 weeks is as much as I want to try and handle!!!

Just wrapped up my biggest wedding to date. Thank you to Kenzie Carpenter and Ryan Rusnak for the opportunity!!! Also, thank you to my help today Amber Linn Boyd, Kelsey Doudna, Tyler Doudna, Aiden Barnett and Madden Koval!! The team crushed it as usual!!! Also, shout out to Matthew Wentworth and his chicken cooking team. They always knock it out of the park!!!

Due to a recent cancelation and some changes in my personal schedule, I am opening up some dates in September and November for catering. Looking for parties of 100+ people and will probably pick up 2 additional events, possibly 3. Dates are listed below.

September 6th, 13th, 20th
November 8th, 22nd

Also, towards the end of summer, I will be opening up the 2026 calendar. Outside of graduation season, I will only be booking 2 events a month maximum, March- November. As of now, my December and January are booked with annual holiday and family parties. Thanks for everyone's support!!!

Finally have a free weekend and working on contracts and scheduling for next year. I do have an opening or two for weddings in April and May. If you're getting married during those months, let me know.

Buckeye BBQ will be sponsoring a post game BBQ meal for the players, coaches and support staff for both the Buckeye Trail Warriors and Shenandoah Zeps after their game on September 13th at Buckeye Trail!!!

Buckeye BBQ is officially booked for 2025!!! Thank you for everyone who jumped at the opportunity and booked us!!!

With that being said, if your event is 250 people plus, it won't hurt to reach out!!! I may pick up a couple extra events!!!
